**Advice Needed for Hotel Choices in NYC and DC**

**Advice Needed for Hotel Choices in NYC and DC**

We are planning a trip to NYC and Washington DC and would like to ask advise on
where to stay in these two cities.

For NYC, we planed to stay in hotels in Manhattan but heard from other people
that parking is very expensive. So we figured that it might be better to find a
hotel in New Jersey or other areas; park car there and take public
transportation to go to the city. We would really appreciate if any of you can
give us some advice on where to stay when traveling to NYC and approximately
how much we would expect to spend.

For Washington DC, We think that it will be better to stay close to the
National Mall where the major attractions are. But we don?t know the price and
also considering that some areas in DC are not safe. So any suggestions on
commendation in DC are also highly appreciated.

Thank you very much!
