of the
Children 's/Youth Chinese Christmas Play Program
Friday, October 3, 2003
7:15 pm - 9:30 pm
Group A - Boy Preschoolers (up to 5)
Group B - Girl Preschoolers (up to 5), Early Elementary (6-8)
Group C - Upper Elementary (9-11)
Group D - Youth (12+)
Tasks To Do
1. Distribute copies of script and copies of CD of songs.
2. Assign parts to the children.
3. Identify chinese language teachers to teach children the lines and songs
in chinese. Teachers will meet with Drama Program Coordinator to prepare
for
teaching sessions, while children rehearse dancing and play sports.
Schedule For Today
7:15-8:00 pm Registration and casting. All children must be present.
7:30-8:30 pm Little shepherd girls of Group B rehearse their dance
with Diana Chang.
8:00-9:00 pm The herald angel girls of Group C rehearse their dance
with Amy Chang.
8:00-8:45 pm Boys play sports.
8:45-9:00 pm Snack time.
9:00-9:30 pm Chinese language teachers teach lines and songs to
children.
Parents: Please use the song sheets and script to help your children
practice their songs and lines at home. Then help your child to remember to
bring
back his/her binder with the song sheets and script each of the 4 more
sessions
we will meet.
Next rehearsal: Session#3 on Friday, October 17, 2003, 7:15 pm - 9:30 pm
