标题: 回复: [china:] 公证过的驾照怎么才能在这里驾车?

Dear friend,
I don't have a car, but I'm thinking to rent a car or co-drive a friend's car.
I will stay here only for 2 more months. I have driving experience for more 7 years in China. Do I still need to pay 6 months insurance for the car?

Dear Gracie,
You just need to call a insurance company and get the liability insurance for your car, then you can drive.
If you have driving experience, such as 5 years, in China, then it would significantly reduce your bill.
Try call Allstate or other companies, they may provide a quota as low as 250 dolloars for 6 months. You do not need to show
any document to them. Just call and tell them you have a China's Driver Licence and the driving experience you have.
Good Luck
